From 15 June to 7 September, Ipswich is set to play host to an even bigger and better art trail than when the pigs went wild; this time featuring 55 individually designed elephants based on the much loved children’s character, Elmer the Patchwork Elephant.

The Most Active County team love the art trails, especially as they get people walking and moving and this year we’ve sponsored an Elmer called Big Ballet Bertha, designed by artist Glen Brooks.

You’ll have to wait until the trail goes live on 15th June though to see how cute she is!

Millie Mayhew in Disney’s Tarzan The Musical

As part of MOVE SUFFOLK WEEK, we’re launching our exclusive … Big Ballet Bertha dance created by professional dancer Millie Mayhew, originally from Suffolk, who is just back from performing in Disney’s Tarzan the Musical, so she’s very used to the Jungle!

The videos below show:-

  1. A full tutorial of the dance, so you can learn it, do it at home, share it with your colleagues, school or dance group.
  2. Millie taking it around the county and encouraging our partners, organisations and friends to get involved.

Why not send us a video of you and your colleagues or friends doing it – and use the #movesuffolk.

Come on…it’s your turn to MOVE IT!
